Rep. Jackie stood for Indiana and for what was important. She will be greatly missed. A life gone too soon.

We have lost one of the best and brightest in every way. Our loss is certainly Heaven’s gain. She is sorely missed.

Jackie was and is a great politician and is a great example for future girls wanting to follow in her steps. God Bless

Words cannot convey the devastation at the tragic loss of Jackie, and Zach and Emma. Jackie was a great friend to everyone who ever met her. She epitomized all the stellar characteristics one would ever want in a public servant. To Dean, her family and many, many friends, prayers and deepest sympathy. Our state and nation have lost one of its finest stateswomen. Rest in peace Jackie. We love you and will always miss you.

My husband and I met Jackie several years ago when she was first campaigning for office. She was a wonderful, caring and intelligent woman. She did a lot for our state. She will be greatly missed. Deepest condolences to her family.

Farewell

When she died I felt this need to learn more about herafter hearing about it in the news. I discovered we were both born on August 17,1963 and both have B.A degrees in Communications. I don't know why, but I feel I lost someone I was supposed to know. RIP Jackie. You will be missed.

She was always smiling, kind and positive... she truly impressed me every time I seen her in public she had her mom with her.. they shared such a special bond.

I was shocked and saddened by Jackie’s untimely passing and my prayers go to her husband and family, as well as the families of the other 3 who lost their lives. This incident just shows us how fragile life is and we must always be prepared to meet our maker.

Dean and family: I was so saddened to hear the terrible news. Jackie and I were colleagues in the State House of Representatives and enjoyed fellowship and friendship. The rare times we met after she went to congress she always remembered me as if no time or station had changed for I retired in 2012. Jackie was a wonderful person that loved riding her bike around our community when she could find the time, she loved and served her constituents with dedication and pride and will be sorely missed by all, my thought and prayers go out to her family.
