Jackson Kendrick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Family Funeral Home on Mar. 17, 2026.
Jackson Bryan Kendrick arrived into our arms on February 19, 2026, in McKinney, Texas, a tiny miracle who announced himself with brave, determined breaths. From the very first moment, his presence felt like a bright, sudden sunrise across a quiet field: brief, breathtaking, and unforgettable. Although his journey with us was measured in days rather than years, every moment he gave was overflowing with love, a stubborn courage, and a tenderness that changed the people around him.

Jackson's early arrival brought a mix of joy and worry, a hospital rhythm of beeps and whispered prayers. Doctors and nurses watched him with admiration; family members watched him with an affection too large for words. Born breathing on his own, his tiny cries were a proclamation of life - a reminder that even the smallest heart can be fierce, hopeful, and alive. In those fragile, fierce hours, Jackson's spirit became a lamp for us: guiding, warming, and drawing us closer.

Though his little feet never hit the ground, Jackson skipped across our hearts and ran through our minds. He taught us how to love with no reserve, how to hold wonder in one hand and sorrow in the other. We leaned into the peace of his sleeping face, and we soaked up each fleeting moment as if it were a rare and precious gift. His presence left impressions - gentle fingerprints - on the souls of everyone who saw him.

On February 24, 2026, Jackson went home to the Lord due to complications of his premature birth. In our grief we find comfort in the promise of Christ: that death is not the last word, and that we who mourn now will one day be reunited in a place where tears are no more. Jackson's life, short as it was, points to an eternal story of hope. We remember him not only for the sorrow of goodbye but for the great blessing of his brief stay among us.

Jackson is survived by his devoted parents, Noah and Emily Kendrick, who cherished every moment with their beloved son. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Jeffrey and Shaunna Kendrick; great-grandparents William and Nina Kendrick, and Kenny and Mary Maese. Maternal grandparents Jerry and Niki Clark and Brooks and Heather Greger, great -grandparents Manuel and Patricia Bustos, and Charles and Renea Wells, also left to honor his memory are Jackson's extended family, including uncles and aunts Christian Burrow (Ele), Kyle Kendrick (Brandi), Casey Kendrick (Kaylee), Jay Kendrick, Andrew Clark (Audrey), Gavin Greger, Laura Beth Greger, Brian Rodriguez (Abby), and Serenity Williams, Cousins Jardanna Burrow, Lane Kendrick, Belle Kendrick, Presley Kendrick, Isaiah Rodriguez all hold dear the memory of this precious baby boy who touched their lives so deeply.

Jackson is lovingly remembered by his family, who will carry his memory as a beacon of faith and a testament to the depth of a parent's love. In every lullaby hummed and every quiet prayer whispered, his name will live on - a small, radiant star in the night sky of our lives.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, March 20th at 1:00 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX with Pastor Steve Summers officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, TX.
