Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home - UniontownIn Loving Memory of Jackson Parks-Baker
September 30, 2012 – March 18, 2026
Jackson, a courageous soul with a warrior’s heart, crossed his final finish line and entered heaven on March 18, 2026. After bravely battling cancer for the second time, Jackson is finally at rest, leaving behind a legacy of strength that far exceeded his thirteen years.
Born on September 30, 2012, Jackson found his greatest joys in time spent with family and friends, racing at K1 Speed, watching Nascar, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and the Buckeyes. His latest passion was collecting and trading football cards and frequenting Hartville Sports Cards. Jackson found great joy in negotiating the best deal possible.
Jackson is survived by his Mom, Shelley Kennedy (Andrew); Dad, Justin Parks-Baker (Krissy); brother Jacob; bonus sisters Kacey and Madison; his grandparents: Kym Parks (Gigi), Les Baker, Roger and Becky Porter, Kaye and Ken Millard; his Uncle Scott and Aunt Alison Porter, and cousins Nathan and Jenna. Jackson’s love for his dogs had no bounds, he will be greatly missed by Cooper, Coco, Sasha, Sadie, and Skye.
Jackson’s journey was far too short, but the impact he made was immeasurable. He was a beloved son, a loyal friend, and a hero to many. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Jackson, you can donate to the Akron Children's Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood disorders at Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders
