Jackson Bruce Watson

Jackson B. Watson Jr., 56, passed away on June 5th, 2025. He was born to Anna June and Jackson Bruce Watson on February 3rd, 1969 in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Jackson enjoyed gardening, helping others, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. In his free time, Jackson liked to ride Razors. He was employed at S&J Excavating and loved his work family there. His favorite moments were those when his family were all together eating, laughing, and sharing stories. Jackson was said to be a legend in the heavy machinery industry, and was known to be able to "move mountains and dirt like no other."

In addition to his mother, Anna June Watson, Jackson is preceded in death by his daughter, Jada Watson, and his sister, Judy Marie Mealer.

Jackson is survived by his wife, Shannon Watson, children, Jackson (Brittany) Watson, of Carthage, Tennessee; Weldon (Brittany) Watson, Justin (Jolene) Watson, Nathan (Sonia) Watson, all of Ocoee, Tennessee; Emma Watson of Bradley County, Tennessee; Serena (Eric) Rupert of Etowah, Tennessee; step-children, Patrick (Kaitlyn) Garrison, Cody (Alexis) Garrison, Zachery Garrison, of Old Fort, Tennessee; father, Jackson Bruce Watson, of Ocoee, Tennessee; grandchildren, Emberlee, Paisley and Caiden Garrison, Chloe, Sophia, Everett and Dakota Watson, Shaylynn, McKenzee, Raina and Ethan Rupert, Jamenson and Locklan Watson, Roman and Aaliyah Yates, and Maeleigh Wooten.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 11th, from 4:00-7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home- The Ridge Sanctuary.

The family will be receiving friends again on Thursday, June 12th, from 5:00-7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home- The Ridge Sanctuary, with a service to follow, officiated by Guinn Green, at 7:00pm.
