Jacob Thomas Breitbord

Jacob "Jake" Breitbord, 29, died unexpectedly on March 20, 2024 at his home in Ontario, CA.
Jake was born on December 29, 1994 and grew up in Framingham, MA where he was fortunate to benefit from the excellent schools in Framingham, particularly Hemenway Elementary School, Walsh Middle School, and Framingham High School. He became a Bar Mitzvah at Temple Beth Am, Framingham, MA in December, 2007. Jake was a graduate of Framingham High School in Framingham, MA, class of 2013. He loved The Grateful Dead and Star Wars, naming his dog Qui-Gon after Qui-Gon Jinn "the greatest Jedi". Jake also loved his Nana's and cousin Jane's apple pie, but only theirs. He was a descriptive and vivid writer and had a great sense of humor, including jokes at his own expense. He enjoyed board games, especially Monopoly, Yahtzee and chess. Jake was a talented artist, making colorful, creative, elaborate, unique free-hand drawings with Sharpies. He was a loyal devotee of Threyda clothing, particularly hoodies, and owned over 10 of them. He enjoyed traveling to tropical vacations with his family, visiting Punta Cana, St. Thomas, and the Cayman Islands, as well as Kennebunk, Maine and Falmouth, Cape Cod MA.
Jake is survived by his parents, Gary and Colleen Breitbord of Falmouth MA; his sister, Sarah Breitbord of Miramar, FL; his grandmother Laura O'Neill of Goffstown, NH; his aunt and uncle Karen and Stan Steinberg, of Needham, MA; his aunt Laurie Breitbord of Marlboro, MA; his aunt and uncle Colleen and Mike O'Neill of Manchester, NH and his cousins David (Heather) O'Neill of Andover, MA; and Laura (Chris Garretty) O'Neill, of Washington DC; Daniel Steinberg of Needham, MA; and his second cousin, Cora O'Neill of Andover, MA; and his particularly close friend Ashley Napier and her daughter, Zane, of Upland, CA.
