Jacob A. Geesey, 93, of Reading, passed away Saturday, June 8th, at his residence.
Jacob was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1930, a son of the late Helen (Knerr) and Jacob Geesey.
He was the widower of Theresa C. (Speirs) Geesey. Theresa died April 10, 2024.
Jacob served in the U.S. Army, in the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Branch Motors.
Jacob is survived by
two daughters, Jacqueline, widow of Anthony LaScala and Deborah L. Williamson, wife of Rory Quinter;
two sons Leroy, husband of Jill Geesey and Ronald Geesey; and two stepsons Richard and Kenneth Speirs.
Jacob is also survived by
two sisters, Joan Sparr and Linda Dmochowski.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, June 14th at Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1501 North 11th Street, Reading. Online condolences may be made at www.sandersfuneral.com.

America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender.
