Jacob H. Heikkinen

I became acquainted with Jacob when we were both attending the Lutheran Lay School for Mission at Finlandia University. Later, when I provided pulpit supply at Mission United Lutheran Church of Pelkie, we exchanged ideas and discussed various topics related to our Christian faith. Jacob had very specific values of what was the true Way and was not reluctant to share his views. We also shared a common interest in Lutheran hymnody and the use of music in congregational worship. I always enjoyed our conversations. I am thankful to have known Jacob.
