Jacob Herbert Daniel Berman

Jacob Herbert Daniel Berman, age 32, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2024, at his home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He was born on December 3rd, 1991, in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to PA in 1993. He graduated from Garnet Valley High School. He followed his love of culinary and graduated from Walnut Hill Restaurant School. Jake also loved the outdoors, and the lifestyle of Steamboat Springs matched him to a T! Jake loved snowboarding, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking and anything else outdoors, but most importantly, hanging out with friends and family. Jake was a genuine people person and influenced many. He worked as a chef for Destination Hospitality starting in 2017. He followed his dream of owning a food truck, and Shreddies Food was born in May 2023. You could always find Jake with a smile on his face and positive spirit shining through. Jake was always ready to SEND IT! Jake is survived by his parents, Paul and Mary Jo Berman and his brother Sam Berman. Services will be held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado at Fetcher Park 11 am Tuesday June 11th with a luncheon following. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."
