Jacob Moser, 42, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:05 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his home. He was born December 12, 1980, in Watseka, IL, the son of Dale I. Moser and Joan E. (Morgan) Moser Kauffman.
He is survived by his mother, Joan E. Kauffman of Holts Summit, MO; his step-mother, Shelley (Burch) Moser; one son, Parks Griffen Moser of Belleville, IL; two sisters, Jamie Ann Moser of Savannah, GA and Jackie Christine Moser of Hoopeston, IL; one step-brother, Danny Caswell; his maternal grandmother, Norma Morgan of Gilman, IL; seven nieces and nephews, Andrew, Alex, and Ashley Winchester, and Kaytlin, Keersten, Kregg, and Khendryx Carswell; and his pet rabbit, Hayworth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale I. Moser; maternal grandfather, Robert O. Morgan; and paternal grandparents, George and Arlene Moser.
Jacob previously worked as a LPN at Heritage Health in Hoopeston. He was a very eccentric person and always had a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed building things out of Lego's, watching documentary shows, reading, and baking. He also loved coffee and Pez dispensers. Jacob's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his son.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and Jacob's family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the VFW in Hoopeston.
Memorial donations may be made to Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL 60942 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
