Jacob Lee Salinas

Jacob Lee Salinas born May 7, 1993, in Kingsville, Texas passed from this life on January 17, 2026, at the age of 32 years. Jacob had a passion for life's simple joys. He was a hardcore Philadelphia Eagles fan, always loyal to his team and proud to cheer them on. He loved spending time fishing and hunting, finding peace and freedom outdoors. One of his greatest joys was cooking, especially grilling his own steaks - a talent he took pride in and loved sharing with others. Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel Salinas, Marina Salinas, and Joe Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving parents, Lee Roy (Erika) Salinas and Carmen Gonzalez; beloved grandmother, Melba Ramos; brothers and sisters, Joshua (Daniella) Salinas, Lee Roy Salinas, Jr., Matthew Lee Salinas, Izlan Salinas, Marina Lee Salinas, Keana Salinas, and A.J. Salinas; aunts and uncles, Janel Salinas, Eloy Salinas, Connie (Roger) Castillo, Cynthia (Rogelio) De La Paz, and Christina Vasquez; nieces and nephews, Sylvestre Salinas, Kaisleigh Salinas, Josiah Salinas, Micha Salinas, Valentina Salinas, and Lucas Salinas; as well as numerous other relatives and good friends. While our hearts grieve his earthly loss, we take comfort in the promises of God's Word. Scripture reminds us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8). We trust that Jacob is now healed, restored, and resting in God's eternal peace, free from pain and suffering.
