Jacob A. VanGampler

Jacob VanGampler, born on February 3, 1987, age 35, was suddenly called home to the good Lord on Monday, October 17, 2022. Beloved son of Bernard and Lorel VanGampler, loving brother to Eric(Christine), Keith(Katherine) VanGampler, cherished Uncle to Madison, Keegan, Tyler, Landyn, Griffin, Jase and cousin to Victoria. Also survived by his loving grandmother Anne Daufenback and numerous relatives. Jacob was a graduate from Lincoln-Way High School and a cherished employee/coworker at Great Kitchen. Jacob loved spending time with family and friends doing things like watching football games, playing poker tournaments and Nerf wars, and online gaming. He was a person who loved reading a good book to expand his mind and was always in for a heated debate with anyone. He will be sadly missed by every person who had the honor to call him a grandson, son, brother, uncle, friend, nephew, cousin or coworker in their lives. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or the ASPCA.
The family will receive visitation for Jacob at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 East Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL, 60451 on Friday, October 28th from 3pm to 7pm.
