Jacque R. Angelus was born September 22, 1937, to Samuel B. and Jacqueline R. Richardson and passed October 20, 2023.
Jacque is survived by her much-loved brother Samuel Bainbridge (Sam/Sammy) Richardson, Jr and sister-in-law Judith Ann (Judy) Richardson, Shannon Richardson Lamballe (Adrian), Samuel Bainbridge (Rich) Richardson, III (Peggy), Mary Lovelace Rose (Chuck) and her eight great nieces and nephews.
Jacque, a native Nashvillian, attended Harpeth Hall and Peabody High Schools and trained at Vanderbilt for her career in Radiology. She lived and worked in hospitals in Hawaii, Pennsylvania and California before returning to Nashville. She retired from a career at HCA where she exemplified Dr. Frist Sr’s motto of “good begets good”. Jacque had many treasured friendships that began in childhood along with those she made during and after her career.
As a child, Jacque loved her summers spent at Camp Riva-Lake in Winchester, Tennessee. She carried her love of the outdoors with her into her adult life with her cabin at Fernvale Hunting and Fishing Club (Fairview). This was a magical place for Jacque, her family and friends. We share our memories of fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with her. She loved her dogs, Happy and Rebel, and the many dogs and cats she cared for while pet/house sitting. She was in great demand as a house and pet sitter for many years.
All who knew and loved her will find comfort in their memories of Jacque, of shared adventures, her sense of humor, non-judgmental attitude, laid back personality and kindness, her love of art, artists, and storytelling.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee, 37064 on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
