JACQUELINE C. ANGSTADT

JACQUELINE (JACKI) C. ANGSTADT, 85, of Monticello, Ind., passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Ind. Born May 19, 1936 in Fort Wayne, Ind.,, she was the daughter of the late Jack Christie and Faye Christie. After completing her education, she married her former husband, Robert Bell. She later met and married her husband, Charles F. Angstadt, on Nov. 5, 1973 in Tennessee. Jacki held administrative positions in her early years of employment, but enjoyed being a homemaker for much of her life. Jacki also had many other joys. She loved the outdoors and going fishing, watching sports (especially NASCAR), playing euchre, watching soap operas, and reading detective novels. However, her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family and her pet Shih Tzu, Max, who preceded her in death very recently. In addition to her husband, Jacki is survived by her son, Scott (Dianne) Bell of Lafayette, Ind., son, Jay (Barbara) Angstadt of Cantonment, Fla.; her grandchildren, Crystal (Kevin) Alvarez Bell of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Tara and Teo Bell of Belgrade, Serbia, and Shaun, Tia, and Malaika Bell of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; as well as several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jack Bell. Service is 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel, with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment to follow service at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made in Jacki's memory to the Humane Society or no-kill animal shelter of the donor's choice.
