Jackie Asaro, 81, of Goose Creek, S.C. entered peacefully into Eternal rest Tuesday May 9th 2023 with loved ones by her side.
She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a talented artist, who enjoyed gardening and taking care of her many plants. She sold Avon for 30 years and also was church treasurer for 35 years at First Southern Methodist Church in North Charleston. She loved God and was a devoted Christian. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina to Captain Kenneth and Elsie "Jean" Hazelwood. She graduated from Chicora High School in North Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Asaro, brother Charles Hazelwood (Nan) her mother & father, her brother in law Lynn Hyman & her nephew De Hyman.
She is survived by her 3 children, Tim (Sandy) Carla (Bill) Bonnie (Daniel). Her 4 grandchildren James (Brandy) Michael (Jessica)
Brandy (Sean) and TJ (Jessica) and 7 great grandchildren Aria, Khloe, Logan, Sadie, Kaylee, Tripp and Rosie. She is also survived by her sister Billie Jean Hyman and her many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 Saturday May 13, 2023 at Simplicity Lowcountry Ladson Chapel, 281 Treeland Dr. Suite C Ladson, S.C.
