There she was active in the Swinging Saints Square Dance Club, the Ruth Circle (United Methodist Women) receiving a lifetime membership pin, the Bible class, the Senior Harvesters, the Adult Fellowship Sunday School Class and various committees. She also enjoyed traveling and special times with family and friends at the family beach house in North Myrtle Beach.
