Jacqueline Cage Obituary
Born on February 6, 1951, in Ellicott City, Maryland to Leroy and Pauline Roberts. Jackie grew up as one of six children in a close-knit family, with siblings, Roy, Charles, Bryan, Chris and Nancy.
She dedicated much of her professional life to education, serving as a beloved teacher for many years. Jackie was married 49 years to Robert Cage, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2021. She was a world traveler, had a green thumb that led to plentiful gardens and was an avid animal lover. A devoted Christian, she was an active member of her church choir and generously gave her time to support both her faith community and those in need around her. Known for her warm and welcoming spirit, Jackie excelled at bringing people together, hosting joyful family gatherings that created lasting memories for everyone. Above all, her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her immeasurable happiness.
She is survived by her loving children: Molly Perkinson and her husband Will of Virginia; Tracey Yost and her husband Mike; Bradley Cage and his wife Alicia of Maryland and her cherished grandchildren: Harper, Giddeon, Winston, Zoe, Celia, and Boyd. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 3-5 and 7-9 at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 beginning at 11:00am at Westminster United Methodist Church, 165 E Main Street, Westminster, MD. A reception will follow. A service live stream will be available at https://www.wumcmd.org.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Westminster United Methodist Church. Her family finds comfort in the legacy of faith, love, and togetherness she leaves behind. Jackie's kindness and devotion touched countless lives, and she will be forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
