Jacqueline Deloris Clover, 86, of Columbus, GA passed away July 7, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Father Odel Medina officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 10, 2025 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.
Jacqueline was born April 24, 1939 in San Juan, PR daughter of the late Edward Scherer and Ruby Scherer. Jackie was a devoted wife and loving mother to her six children, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Jackie was a talented artist, known for her beautiful oil paintings. She worked for Dolly Madison for 27 years. After retiring from Dolly Madison mom loved taking care of her grandchildren. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for 60 years. Mom was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, enjoyed gardening, loved to travel, making beautiful flower arrangements for her family and friends, but her true love was Jesus and her family.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Renato Clover of Columbus, GA; children, Nora Suggs of Columbus, GA, Victor Clover (Lisa) of Catuala, GA, Lisa Freyberger (Stewart) of Fortson, GA, Dona Shaw (Brian) of Fortson, GA, Gina Clover of Columbus, GA, Damone Clover of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Alex Gray of Columbus, GA, Chloe McCoy of Columbus, GA, Christopher Clover of Cataula, GA, Kayla Gray of Columbus, GA, Benjamin Clover of Cataula, GA, Talon Shaw of Fortson, GA, Gavin Shaw of Fortson, GA, Jessica Clover of Cataula, GA, Sofia Shaw of Fortson, GA, Isabella Clover of Fortson, GA; Peyton Clover of Fortson, GA and a great grandson, James McCoy of Columbus, GA.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Wounded Warrior Project, or Tunnell To Towers.
