Jacqueline David Eilers

Jacqueline Jackie David Eilers passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her late husband Richard H. Eilers, Sr. and her parents Lloyd Paul David and Marie Melancon David. She was mother to Richard H. Eilers, Jr. (Paulette), David W. Eilers, Sr. (Sheri), and Parrish T. Eilers (Susan). She was OMaw to grandchildren Abbey Eilers, Dylan Eilers, David Eilers, Jr., Joshua Eilers, Zachary Eilers, and Alexander Eilers. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Luciano Berard and Rowan Eilers, her brother, Earl David (Sharol), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jackie was born on March 7, 1939 in Youngsville, LA. She grew up in New Orleans and raised her family in Metairie. She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Dun & Bradstreet. Later in life, she moved to the Northshore to be closer to family. She loved all animals and enjoyed cross-stitching, reading books, and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a mass at 11:00 AM, Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
