Jacqueline "Jackie" Enoch

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our esteemed friend and family member, Jacqueline "Jackie" Enoch. Jackie was born on March 1, 1953, as the second daughter of the late Otis Enoch, Sr. and Hildred Gant Enoch. On December 21, 2025, she departed this life, called by the Lord Jesus Christ from her earthly labor to her eternal reward.

A 1971 graduate of Walter M. Williams High School. Prior to attending Williams, Jackie attended segregated schools through her junior year and, as a result, she did not have the opportunity to graduate from Jordan Sellars Senior High School. After completing her education, she chose to remain in her hometown. Jackie's parents instilled in her strong work ethics, exemplary manners, and respect for others. She retired from EASCO Aluminum several years prior to experiencing declining health. She was an avid Duke fan, and she enjoyed watching football during the NFL season.

Jackie's memory will be cherished by her devoted family and lifelong friends. She is survived by two sisters, Geraldine "Cookie" Kennedo and Barbara Enoch-Daye; one brother, Timothy A. Enoch, and his wife, Dr. Susie Wright Enoch; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. Her lifelong friends were Athenia N. McCollum, Tessie Goins, Claude Woods, and Helen Crisp, who mourns her loss.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her brother, Otis Enoch, Jr., and her brother-in-law, James Newton Daye.

The family extends sincere appreciation to Compass Healthcare Nursing Home and to Jackie's devoted Certified Nursing Assistant, Michelle, for their exemplary care and compassion. Furthermore, the family expresses gratitude to Mrs. DiAnne Enoch Yancey for the considerable time and support she provided at Jackie's bedside throughout her illness.
