Jacqueline Enos

Jacqueline "Jackie" Enos, 67 of Colchester, passed away on August 13, 2023 at UVM Medical Center after a prolonged illness with loving family at her side. Jackie was born on April 21, 1956. She attended local catholic schools, including Rice Memorial High School and graduated from Burlington High School in 1974. She married Joseph Enos on April 3, 1976 and he remained her dedicated, loving husband and greatest advocate and supporter for the past 47 years.
Although Jackie had many health challenges, she was a strong, smart and beautiful person who loved to smile. Even in her final days, she greeted those she loved with a quick smile. She was happy, joyful, full of life and enjoyed each day to the fullest extent possible. She enjoyed crafts, her dolls and spreading joy by doing for others. Her husband wrote numerous songs that were inspired by Jackie's strength, courage and determination which brought focus to his life. Most people would be crushed under the weight of her burdens, but Jackie kept smiling.
She soon got so tired and I watched her pass away, and even though I loved her, I couldn't make her stay. Jackie, your loving, caring heart is now laid to rest, God broke my heart to show me, he only takes the best.
