Jacqueline Mary "Jackie" Erickson

Jacqueline (Jackie) Mary Erickson age 86 of Apple Valley, MN, formally of Lakeville and Hastings, MN passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025 in Burnsville, MN.

Jackie was born on January 14, 1939 to Greg Klotz and Cora Weierke. Jackie grew up 1 of 13 children in Farmington, MN, where she also attended school. At the age of 20 Jackie became Mrs. Bill Erickson. Bill and Jackie were wed on February 14, 1959 at the "Little Brown Church " in Nashua, Iowa. Bill and Jackie lived in Waterloo, IA and started their family here with daughter Kari and son Jeff. In 1966 Bill and Jackie moved to Hastings, MN to assist family.

It was in Hastings that Bill and Jackie chose to put their roots down and raise their family. Bill started his business building homes while Jackie began work as a real estate agent. Jackie was active in her church choir, teaching Sunday school, and various other activities.

In 1987 after becoming empty nesters Bill and Jackie moved to Lakeville, MN, where they could be closer to their extended families. They joined the Farmington Lutheran Church and remain members. Jackie enjoyed going line dancing with family, and she and Bill spent over 20 winters in Arizona, where they enjoyed riding bikes, cards, the sun, and making friends. She had a great sweet tooth and loved a pumpkin donut and a good cup of coffee; she always kept a tin of skittles for her grandkids on the coffee table. Jackie had a great smile, loved laughing and being silly.

Jackie was a great cook, but will forever be remembered for her fantastic baking and beautiful Christmas cookie and candy platters! Jackie found joy in baking for others. However, what brought Jackie deep JOY was her love for Jesus and being with her family. Her favorite name was "Grammy ". "Grammy Jackie" loved her grandchildren with great abandon, and they loved her with the same deep love.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband Bill, daughter Kari (Larry) Billson, Jeff (Annette) Erickson; grandchildren Kelii, Alika, and Lyssa Billson, Andrew (Sarah) Erickson, Lydia (Solomon) Farris, and Matthew Erickson; great grandchildren, Leilani and Jaidyn Billson (with 2 on the way).

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday January 24,2026 at White Funeral Home in Farmington, MN, with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment at West Christiana Cemetery, Lakeville, MN.
