Jacqueline Marie Grzechowiak

Jacqueline Marie Grzechowiak, January 13, 2024, long time resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago. Beloved mother of Jesse De La Pena, Dianne De La Pena and the late Leeann Grzechowiak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, her mother and father Harry and Emma Neis, and is survived by her twin sister, Jeanette.
Jacqueline loved music and loved to cook. She was a "church goer" and had a heart of Gold. She would step forward to help anyone in need. Jacqueline had the reputation of being as "sassy as a truck driver", and never hesitated to speak her mind. She told "it as it was". She had a love for animals and over the years took care of many. Most recently her 8 month old black kitty, Lucky, was by her side.
Jacqueline was a dear aunt of many nieces of nephews and will be missed by all.
Services will be held at Central Chapel 6158 S. Central, Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, January 20, 2024 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Monday Time Pending at CENTRAL CHAPEL.. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery Evergreen Park, Illinois.
