Jacqueline (Jackie) Riegle Guevara, age 66 of Houston, Texas passed away Monday, October 27 after a short illness.

Guevara was the daughter of Sam and Shirley Riegle of New Madison, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Jill Snyder. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Guevara, stepmother, Sharon Riegle, siblings Ann Crichton, Samantha (Zach) O'Dell, Bridgett (Ray) Roberts and Jeff (Amanda) Zumbrun, close friend Raul (Oralia) Reyes, special niece Elaine (Dan) Hawley and numerous other family members and friends.

Jackie graduated from Tri-Village High School in New Madison, OH in 1977 and the University of Dayton in 1981. She moved to Houston in the early 1980s for employment. Management was her chosen profession and she managed a childcare center, several restaurants and most recently PetsHotel for Petsmart 0198 West Loop South during her career.

The only thing Jackie loved more than her family was her grumble of 5 pugs, all foster-fails. Lupita, Pixie, Cleo, Zeke and Decker (and many more before this group) were loved and spoiled beyond measure. In addition to dogs, Jackie enjoyed traveling and reading true crime mystery novels.

Memorial donations can be directed to Pug Hearts of Houston, a nonprofit charity Jackie supported, at www.pughearts.com or to the charity of the donors choice.
