I first met Jackie in a media class during my freshman year at Fordham LC. As an upperclassman, she could have easily looked past me, but she was the warmest human and immediately was kind to me.

We bonded deeply over our love for fashion, and I still think back fondly on us giggling together about the impossible struggle of trying to cram our favorite pieces into those tiny NYC closets.

Though I only knew her through a few classes, her bright soul and incredible work has forever changed how I view art and culture. My heart is with those who were closest to her; her memory will live on.

I had Jackie in my 7th grade English class, and I got to watch her grow up throughout her years at Cresskill. I'll always remember our study hall time together during her senior year - those conversations and moments we shared meant so much to me. She had such a bright spirit and brought so much light to our school. My heart is broken for her family and everyone who loved her. She will be so deeply missed.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jacqueline Kletsman.
She was my student last semester in History of Costume in Paris, and I remember her as an intelligent, gentle, and thoughtful young woman. She brought a quiet sensitivity and curiosity to her work that truly marked me as a teacher.

Her presence in the classroom was delicate yet bright, and she leaves behind the memory of a rare kindness.

My thoughts are with her family, her loved ones, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
