Jacqueline Stewart Lathem, age 73, of Ponca City, OK, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born with a creative spirit, Jacqueline was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her passion for crafts and her unwavering love for her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Jacqueline shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert G. Lathem, who survives her. She leaves behind her cherished children, Michael Lathem and Jennifer Palacio, who will forever remember her guidance. As a doting grandmother to Vann Lathem (18) and Catlyn Palacio (6), she delighted in their laughter and treasured every moment spent together. Both will hold her memory dear in their hearts.
She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Travland, Susan Wyatt, and Lindabeth Autry, who will deeply miss her presence.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elwanda Stewart of Snyder, TX, and her brothers, James and John Stewart, also of Snyder, TX.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Jacqueline's name to your local Children's Hospital or St. Jude’s’s Hospital.
