Jacqueline P. Lauer

Jacqueline (Jackie) P. Lauer, 85, of York passed away on Sunday October 29, 2023 at Country Meadows. Born in York on June 21, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Walter Kirk Russell and Catherine Elizabeth (Heim) Russell.
She retired from Citizens Bank; enjoyed shopping and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Dover where she volunteered for many functions. She was a mother, grandmother, and friend who gave of herself unselfishly and with kindness always.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Lauer; a sister Florence Bortner; and brother Donald Russell.
Jackie is survived by her four children Stephen B. Lauer of York; Debra S. Rohrbaugh and husband Carson of Dallastown; Beth Ann Lauer of Reading and Jeffrey A Lauer and wife Linda of Hazelton. Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:00am at John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 2114 W. Market Street York, Pa. friends may call for visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York, Pa.
