Jacqueline Lungaro

Jacqueline Louise Lungaro, age 84 of Holland passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family
on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
She is survived by her children: Anthony and Rebecca Lungaro, Lisa Lungaro and Michael Rampanelli,
Tricia and Michael Cranmer, Therese and Jason Combs, and Rose and Chad Bays; her grandchildren: Julia
Lungaro, Vincent Lungaro, Dominic Cranmer, Katherine Lungaro and Cody Smothers (Bentley, Bailee,
Henri), Matthew McAllister, Madison McAllister, Elizabeth Bays, Isabella Bays, Gianna Bays, Kyle
Rampanelli, Tyler Rampanelli, and her sister-in-law Antoinette and Ron Bonato, and many nieces and
nephews.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Pascal in 2010 and her mother Georgia Bryles in 2007.
Jacqueline was a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church in Douglas; the World Apostolate of Fatima and a
Third Order Carmelite.
Jackie was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 26, 1937, and although she was an only child, she
developed a beautiful relationship with her mother that would shine brightly her entire life. She was adored
by her mother, (fondly known to all as "Gee") until Gee's death in 2007. Jackie was married to Pat on May
1, 1965. Over the years they would add one boy and four girls to the family. In 1978, the Lungaros would
move from Calumet City, Illinois to Fennville, Michigan. Jackie worked hard as a stay-at-home mom and
would spend her extra time volunteering around her community to special causes close to her heart.
Jackie, known to all those that loved her as "nana", simply relished in the fact that her children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren were all within a short drive of her home and would enjoy spending
time with each of them. Her biggest passions included praying for those she loved and especially an end to
abortion, making sure her life "notes" were complete and spending 360 days before each Christmas picking
out, purchasing, and wrapping the perfect Christmas gifts for those that she loved.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8, with Rosary prayers at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022, at
Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. The funeral mass will be 11 a.m.
Friday, November 11 at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 100 Saint Peter Drive, Douglas, MI. A luncheon will
follow at the church. Interment will be in Douglas Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Right
