Jacqueline E Martz

Jacqueline E. Martz, 94 years old, formerly of Halifax, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the home of her granddaughter in Newport. She was born April 19, 1930 in Inglenook to Charles Blosser and Dorothy Snyder. She was a member of the Halifax VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid crocheter. She loved making anything that gave her a challenge to try and always gave her work away to anyone who needed it, especially her afghans. Jacqueline was the widow of John K. Martz and is survived by her granddaughter, Jaclyn Stoneroad, her four great grandchildren of Newport and her brother Robert Blosser of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lavonne Browning and sister Joyce Dowell. Services will be held Wednesday May 29 from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11AM with the Reverend Rebecca Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Carsonville.
