Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee McFadden, age 59, went to be with the Lord with her family by her side, August 31, 2023.
Born July 3, 1964 in Berkeley Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Robert “Bob” and Violet Golden. She was a graduate of Hancock High School and built a home in Needmore, PA with her husband, where she raised her children.
She is survived by her husband, Dwayne L. McFadden, whom she was married to for 40 years; one son, Daniel T. McFadden (Elyssa), and granddaughter Hailey; and one daughter, Natasha B. McFadden, and grandson Zaien.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric Lynn McFadden, whose memory she always kept alive.
Jackie devoted her entire life to her family. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren immensely. She grew up in a big family of three brothers Robert D. Golden Sr., Dennis K. Golden, Stanley F. Golden; and three sisters Linda J. Bishop, Cynthia A. Trail, and Kathy S. Hixon. She was also very close with her husband’s family. She had many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.
Everyone could count on Jackie’s beautiful smile and contagious laugh to brighten their darkest days. She loved being a nana and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible, whether it be swimming, taking them on trips, or just simply enjoying their company and giving them the best cuddles. Jackie liked reading, shopping, puzzles, and doing things outside. She will be missed dearly by everyone who was blessed enough to know her, and her memory and generous spirit will live forever in the hearts of those she loved.
