I remember Jackie as a neighbor on Sullivan Ave. while I was growing up. I have not lived in Wapping for over 50 years but memories of my childhood and my neighbors remain strong. Condolences to her family

I just found about about Jackie's passing today. Her obituary wasn't in the Courant.which is the paper I read. I am a classmate of hers, beginning in the first grade at Wapping School through the 8th grade there. We also attended Ellsworth Memorial High School. Jackie was a sweet, caring and gentle person and she will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Cheryl, Pete, Gary and Sue and all of her grandchildren and family. Jackie was the ultimate Mom, always wanting the best for her kids. She also had a great sense of humor and I will remember her laughing. So hard to lose a Mom, but it's just the way to prepare for our own natural passing into the next world, when we join again with all our loved ones. Peace.

Please accept my sympathy in the loss of Jackie, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was my cousin and I didn't get to see her very often after we moved out of the CT area. Last time I got to see her was in 1997. My condolence to all of her family.

Cheryl, Peter, Gary, Susan Messner(and extended family)-I\'m so sorry about your mom\'s passing. Your mom was greatly loved and she will be remembered forever by any kid who grew up lucky enough to be in our Foster St. gang. I will be forever grateful for her inspiration in making the Foster Street reunion a reality as well.
