Jacqueline Lee Nemeth, affectionately known as Jackie Lee, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, in Greenville, SC, at 59. Born on November 19, 1964, in Manhattan, NY, Jackie was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who enjoyed crossing paths with her.

Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Carol Lee Smith and the late Chris Davie Bass. Her legacy continues through her cherished daughters, Rachel Gonzalez Giambrone and Jessica Lee Wallace, and her grandchildren; Mya Gonzalez, Damien Giambrone, Ava Jade, Cali Lynn, Wyatt Lee, and Mattie Dawn who were the center of her universe. Jackie's love and guidance also touched the lives of her cousins, Chris Smith and Lori Fornea Miller, who will fondly remember her as a source of strength and Giambrone inspiration.

Though Jackie's formal education concluded with some college, she was a lifelong learner who embraced every experience with an open heart and mind. Her journey was marked by a transformative commitment to sobriety, which allowed her to focus on what mattered most to her: loving and raising her girls. Jackie's dedication to her family was unwavering, and her ability to overcome personal challenges was a testament to her resilience and determination.

Jackie's passions were as diverse and dynamic as her personality. She found joy in swimming with dolphins, a magical experience that reflected her love for adventure and the natural world. Music was another significant part of Jackie's life, with Rock & Roll and Southern Rock providing the soundtrack to many cherished memories. Her enthusiasm for fast cars was more than a hobby; it was an expression of her zest for life and her appreciation for the thrill of the moment.

Those who knew Jackie will remember her as loving, thoughtful, and funny. Her sense of humor brought laughter to even the most mundane moments, and her thoughtfulness ensured that no one in her presence ever felt overlooked or unloved. Jackie's loving nature was her hallmark, creating a warmth that drew people to her and made them feel at home.

As we bid farewell to Jackie Lee, we celebrate a life lived with passion, humor, and an abundance of love. Her spirit will continue to guide and comfort us, just as the memories of her laughter and kindness will remain in our hearts forever. Jackie's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her influence will endure, reminding us to embrace life with the same courage and joy that she did.
