Jacqueline Faye Ojala, 76, of Crawfordville, passed away August 28, 2025. She graduated from Wakulla High School and went on to work as an administrative assistant for the Department of Transportation, where she dedicated 32 years before retiring. In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoyed making dolls. She had a great love for animals, especially her dogs. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Norma Jean Strickland. Her husband, James Catton. Jacqueline is survived by her siblings, David Strickland (Connie), Billy Wayne Strickland, and Connie Cutchin; her children, Christina Johnson (Dwayne), Amy Lewis Wallace, and Angela Lewis Sporna (Adam); nine grandchildren, Shelly, Robert, Daniell, Brittany, Greg, Bryant, Gage, Preston, and Lauren; and six great-grandchildren, Zakk, Mason, Alexa, Penny Jean, Luke, and Libbye. Services will be Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Family Funeral Home in the Harvey Young Chapel. Family will begin receiving friends at 6:00 p.m. Final resting place will be West Sopchoppy Cemetery. Skip and Trey Young are assisting the family along with Paula and Amanda.
