Jackie Steadman, 63, of Cabot, Arkansas was called home Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born March 12, 1959 in Bristol, Tennessee to Romie and Julia Overbay Erwood. There are hardly words to describe such an extraordinary soul. Jackie touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with and never knew a stranger. She could light up a room with her smile and fill it with her stories. She loved her children unconditionally and beamed at the mention of their names. She was a proud momma and went to the ends of the earth for them. Jackie was steadfastly loyal to her work family at Harps and her K-Mart crew before that. The lifelong friendships made will keep her spirit alive. She painted canvases as vibrant and colorful as she was, she escaped to faraway lands in the pages of books, she grooved to the beats of Celtic Thunder, and she couldn't wait to make you try the latest treat to hit the store shelves. Jackie was one of a kind with a heart of pure gold. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten. She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Overbay.
Jackie is survived by her children, Jonathan Steadman, Cassie Quarry, and Callie Proctor; their spouses, Bethany, Ben, and Michelle; her grandchildren, Aurin, Rory, Logan, Avery, and Daniel; her father, Jack Erwood; sister, Judith Thompson and her husband Robert; her beloved kitty, Boots, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Join us as we celebrate her life during visitation services from 2:00 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Moore s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
