Jacqueline Thurman Obituary
Jacqueline "Jackie" Noel Harmon Thurman, 86, of Dunwoody, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer, at her beloved home of 54 years with her children by her side.
Born on August 7, 1939, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, Jackie was a true "Georgia Peach". She was a 1957 graduate of Sylvan High School, and in 1961, she married Brown Thurman, and they shared over 64 years of life and love together.
Jackie was the beloved wife of Charles Brownfield Thurman; cherished mother of Laurel (Jim) Petty, Lance (Tracy) Thurman; treasured grandmother, known as Marmee, to Noelle (Ike) Powell, Cole Petty, Alex Thurman and Blaine Thurman; and adoring great-grandmother to Harmon, James and Goldie Powell - each of whom brought a special joy to her life.
