Jackie loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Her friends and family will miss her dearly. To know Jackie was to know the anti-tech who cursed smart phones, smart tv’s, and streaming apps. She once crashed an entire bank of computers in her Info and Technology class in college simply trying to save a document. She had a wonderful obsession with Dean Winchester from Supernatural and a wicked sense of humor. She enjoyed all types of music, but especially loved Tool, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, and Seether.

In the spirit of a larger truth, we remember that nothing of Jackie is truly lost. Every laugh, every breath, every heartbeat was made of the same elements as the moon and the stars. The energy of Jackie’s life has not disappeared; it has simply changed form, returning to the universe from which we all come.

When we feel the sun on our faces, when we see the moon rise, when the stars fill the night sky, we will remember that Jackie is there - in the light that reaches us, the air we breathe, and in the love that continues to bind this family together.

Jackie lives on in her son Okey, her mother Linda, her father Okey Jr, her sister Jessica, her niece Jo, and her nephew Ayden. In stories that will be told and retold, and in a love time cannot diminish.
