Jacqueline S. Williams

Funeral services for Jacqueline “Jackie” Scott Williams, age 84, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 23, 2026, at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Tooley and Rev. Burton Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born on July 19, 1941, in Macon, Georgia. She retired from the Bank of Wrightsville where she worked as a teller and bookkeeper. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Pratt Scott and Gladyne Sammons Scott; her husband, Joseph Elliott Williams; son, Joseph E. “Joey” Williams, Jr.; daughter, Joy Lord and brother, John Scott. Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her residence.

She is survived by her son, Jerry A. Williams (Paula); daughter-in-law, Tammie Williams; son-in-law, George Lord; siblings, Judy Scott Jackson and Joel Scott (Judy); grandchildren, April Williams Banks (Grady), Josh Williams (Rachel), and Jake Williams (Caroline); and great grandchildren, Skylar Banks, Eli Banks, and Hunter Williams.

Pallbearers will be Jody Scott, Jonathan Scott, Pratt Scott, Carey Williams, John Williams, and Doug Jackson.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
