Jacquelyn Ann Elmo, age 88, of Randolph, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Affectionately known as Jackie, she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she met her beloved husband, Russell. They moved to New Jersey and raised their family in Fairfield. Together, Jackie and Russell shared 67 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Jackie was a devoted mother to Debbie (Ian) Newman; Donna (Henry) Zimmermann; Steven (Michele) Elmo; Barbara Harrington, wife of the late Jack Harrington. She was a treasured grandmother to nine grandchildren, Heather, Erica, Spencer, Henry J., Sara, Ashley, Bryan, Doug, and Leah; and a proud, adoring great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren. Jackie was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Richard Saller, and sister, Betty Haar, both of whom held a special place in her heart.

Jackie lived life with a remarkable zest and warmth that touched everyone around her. She loved golfing, crafting, and quilting, and found great joy in cooking and baking-especially her famous Christmas cookies, a beloved family tradition. She had a special fondness for birdwatching from her window and took immense pleasure in hosting gatherings for friends and loved ones.

Her kindness and unwavering hospitality left a lasting impression on all who had the joy of knowing her. Jackie's legacy is one of love, strength, and togetherness, and she will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie's memory to New Jersey Audubon (Make a Tribute Gift | New Jersey Audubon), an organization that reflects her lifelong love of nature and birds.

The family will gather for a private celebration of life at a later date
