Jacquelyn Jones McPhatter

JACQUELYN RENEA JONES MCPHATTER graced this world with her presence on February 26th in Freedman Grove, Georgia, to the late Nathaniel James and the late Jessie D. Jones, six minutes before her late twin sister. At an early age, Jackie accepted Christ and became a member of St. James AME Church. She was educated in the Liberty County School System. Jackie attended Savannah Vocational Technical School, where she earned her Associate Degree in Barbering. Jackie continued her barbering, but also devoted many years to United Parcel Services. Her melodic multi-octave voice was known throughout and was enjoyed by many. She had a love for cooking and baking. She was an avid bowler. Jackie also enjoyed pool and softball. Jackie traveled extensively in the United States and throughout other countries. Jackie was a philanthropist of her time and resources. She was always giving of herself and to others. During her years of marriage, Jackie was blessed with a daughter and a son. Jacquelyn Renea Jones McPhatter entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2016 at 7:47 p.m. Jacquelyn Renea Jones McPhatter was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her twin sister, Gwendolyn J. Ayers. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Jenise N'ichelle' Tunis (James) and her three children, Azia KaShuna, Isaac Joesph and Natalya Ann all of Haddonfield, New Jersey; her devoted son, Jenon Nathanial McPhatter (Tiffany) and their daughter, Quinetta Ni-celle all of Dover AFB, Delaware; a faithful sister, Joyce Ernestdene Richardson (Robert Sr.) of Newark, New Jersey; two aunts, Hazel Bacon of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Hattie Rae of Bronx, New York; a host of loving nephews, cousins, friends; and a special friend, Ammon Mikell.
