Jacquelyn Marie Pacelle
Jacquelyn Marie Pacelle of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away quietly on November 10, 2025, at Morningside House of Fredericksburg. Jacquelyn was born on May 28, 1938, in New Haven, CT, to George and Ann Pacelle. She is survived by her loving sister Geraldine and brother-in-law Robert Laird of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; her nephew Matthew and nieces Meredith and Amy; and her grandnephews Malcolm, James, and Will, and her grandniece Katherine. Jackie attended Prince Street School in New Haven, and moved to Centerville School in Hamden, CT, in 7th grade. She later attended Hamden High School, Albertus Magnus College, and Southern Connecticut State College. She taught school for many years in Meriden, CT, where she was greatly admired by her students, many of whom remained in touch with her over the years. Often, during the summer, she enjoyed travelling the world with friends. At Jackie's request, a private funeral was held at Storke Funeral Home in Virginia, with interment in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamden under the direction of Sisk Brothers Funeral Home.
