Jacquelyn L.K. Todd, age 77, of Halstad, MN, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the Halstad Living Center.
Born on August 1, 1948, in Fargo, North Dakota, Jacquelyn Laurel Kay Todd was the daughter of T. Keith and Joyce (Berg) Todd. Raised in rural Hendrum, MN, she graduated from Hendrum High School. Aspiring to explore beyond her small-town roots, Jacquelyn relocated to Seattle, WA, where she attended the Lutheran Bible Institute. Following the completion of her degree, she moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she began her career in banking until an opportunity arose at a church in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Jacquelyn’s journey continued in Los Angeles, CA, where she worked for a larger church, dedicating her life to service until her retirement.
In 2004, Jacquelyn returned to her Minnesota roots, settling in Halstad. Despite her love for home, she maintained her passion for travel, embarking on numerous trips throughout Europe and Norway. Her fondness for train travel allowed her to visit family and friends across the United States, a tradition she cherished greatly. Jacquelyn was also known for her thoughtfulness, staying connected with loved ones through the annual exchange of birthday and Christmas cards.
Jacquelyn is survived by her niece and nephew, Camiren "Cami" Todd of Detroit Lakes, MN and Joel Todd of Ada, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ellsworth Todd; and a twin sister that died in infancy.
Funeral service for Jacquelyn will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2pm in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service in Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Pontoppidan Lutheran Cemetery, Hendrum, MN.
