Miss Jacquetta Graves, age twenty-eight, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Person County. She was born March 17, 1996 in Durham County and made her home in Roxboro. She was a graduate of Person Senior High School's Class of 2015 and was a member of Zion Christian Center in Person County.
She is preceded in death by grandparents: Arlene Jay, Jasper Ferges and Joe Graves.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, her parents, Shawn and Jacqueline Graves of Roxboro, North Carolina; siblings: Caira White (Rapheal) of Charlotte, North Carolina and J'ashawn Graves, also of Roxboro; her paternal grandmother, Helen Graves of Roxboro; aunts: Wanda Ferges of Rougemont, North Carolina, Cynthia Graves of Burlington, North Carolina, Barbara Bumphus, also of Roxboro and Evon Nathan of Raleigh, North Carolina; uncles: Eric Jay of Durham, North Carolina, Matthew Graves, James Jay and Larry Jay, all of Roxboro and Phillip Ferges (Anna) of Boston, Massachusetts; nieces: Ariana Jackson and Ra'Nyah White, also of Charlotte; nephew, Rapheal White, Jr. of Charlotte; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00pm at Zion Christian Center, 2850 Virgilina Road, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574, with the Reverend Danny Johnson, Pastor, providing the eulogy and Co-Pastor, Teresa Johnson, officiating.
Visitation and a public viewing will be Saturday at Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present during the last hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
At other times, the family will receive visitors at the home of her parents, 307 Garrett Street in Roxboro, North Carolina 27573.

She was a kind caring person I have ever knew, she was a good listener and always gave you good advice especially when she was going through something herself . She was always making you feel like that there was nothing you could get through no matter how though it was . She was a person that made you feel secure and safe and she always put people first before herself even though she was going through something much worse she still put her aside just to make you feel better . She was always fun to be around she made you feel secure and safe and she always seen a good in people no matter how bad it was .
