Jacqulyn K. Herman

On May 6, 1946, Jacqulyn (Jackie) Herman was introduced to this world by Gladys L. White-Herman and Harold W. Herman. This was an exciting day because this was the first child issued to this couple. She lived to the ripe old age of 79 with vim and vigor. Jackie took her leave from this world on November 20, 2025 surrounded by her many memories and situations she encountered while here.

Jackie attended a one-room schoolhouse with several other rural kids near Clarks, Neb., then close to her seventh school year began attending the big schoolhouse in Clarks. The way she perceives it, it was big at that time. However, she found her education to be quite challenging. She was active in band, choirs, vocal trios and all state choir. After graduation from high school, she attended St. Theresa school of nursing. She completed her degree at SECC.

There are far too many memories to list. As a saying goes, some days are diamonds, some days stones. And to each mostly happy good and memorial memories.

Jackie's nursing career spanned 38 years. She enjoyed embroidering, reading, shopping, fishing, loved animals of any kind, spending the day at Barnes & Noble, playing Bingo, going to the casino, and getting her nails done.

Jackie is preceded in death by caring one-of-a-kind Gram and Gramps; her parents; and special friends. Jackie will meet Shelby, Cricket and Radar at the Rainbow Bridge.

Services Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10 a.m. Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home 4040. Burial: Clarks Cemetery, Clarks, Neb., Monday, 1:30 p.m.
