Jaden Halpern

LIMA -- Jaden (Jay) Halpern, 17, passed away on June 10, 2022, at his residence. He was born on August 26, 2004, the son of David Halpern and Tina M (Johns) Halpern, His parents survive in Lima, and Elida.

Jaden was a student, he was a big- hearted young man, with a passion for life, and he always told everyone that he loved them. He was fiercely loyal to his family and inner circle of friends. Anyone who knew him, knew he had an infectious smile and laugh! He loved his 4-legged faithful companion Kyrie, he'd sleep with him and was constantly at his side. He also had a cat, Max, who he also loved dearly. He was extremely intelligent, and street smart, he had a firm grasp of everything around him and his group of friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents are; Sisters; Jenna Halpern of Lima, and Brooke Halpern of Lima, his Brother; Joel Johns, of Columbus. Paternal Grandparents Melvin and Diane Halpern and his "Inner Circle," of close friends; Micah (Mic) Mays, Killian (Kill) Moline, Alyssa (Ting) Ruble, Briana (Bri) Jenner, Ethan (Richie) Richards, and Nathan (Peek) Burger. He was preceded in death by Maternal grandparents; Clayton and Mary Johns.

Friends may call at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima Ohio 45805, on Thursday June 16, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Funeral Service will begin on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 12 noon, with burial following services at Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. In addition Jaden dressed casually everyday and was comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt and the family is requesting guests to do so as well.
