Jadwiga Wrona

Jadwiga (Wronska) Wrona, 93, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, in her home in Sturbridge with her daughter Dorota and her husband Robert by her side. Jadwiga is predeceased by husband Jozef, her son Bogdan and brother Tadeusz Wronski. She is survived by her daughter Dorota and her husband Robert Ginn, with whom she lived. In addition, she leaves her granddaughter Karolina Plonka and her husband Tomasz, two great granddaughters, Adrianna and Wictoria; sister, Maria Syniec, nephew Eugeniusz and wife Halina, nieces Elzbieta, Joanna, Malgorzata, niece Beata and husband Stanislaw Salach, nephew Tomasz Wronski of Poland, step granddaughters and husbands, Kristen and Brian Pollack and Laura and Steve Gabriel and their children.

She was born in Werynia, Poland to Tomasz and Maria (Wilk) Wronski on August 8, 1932.

Raised on a farm in Kolbuszowa, Poland, Jadwiga was strong and hardworking. As a young woman, she moved to Krakow to earn certification to be a caregiver and went on to work with infants and toddlers in Skawina. Later she met and married Jozef and they began a family. After losing her husband, she courageously went to work as a seamstress in order to support her young family. In 2011 she immigrated to the United States to join her daughter and son-in-law. She was creative and talented and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Jadwiga loved to be outside, planting flowers, raking leaves or whatever she could do to help. Mamusia was a warm, loving and caring and wonderful mother and caring person. She liked people and handled the language restrictions with grace and humor. She will lovingly be remembered for her twinkling eyes and sweet smile.

The calling hour will be from 10:30 am to 11:45 am on Friday, August 29, 2025 in Saint Joseph Church, 10 H Putnam Rd Extension, Charlton, MA 01507 followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date in Poland.
