Jahmia Armonie Perez, born on May 28, 2003, in Massachusetts, passed away on November 6, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 22.
Jahmia lived with a heart full of ambition, curiosity, and love. A dreamer with boundless imagination, he longed to travel the world and experience everything life had to offer. He was never afraid to try something new-working hard in almost every type of job he could find, always eager to learn, explore, and challenge himself. Gifted with his hands and determined by nature, he was also pursuing his education, striving to finish school and build the future he envisioned.
Music was at the center of Jahmia's world. He dreamed of becoming a rapper and DJ, and he began creating his own music-projects filled with promise and passion that, though unfinished, will forever echo his creative spirit. His love for animals, both exotic and domestic, was another reflection of his kind and gentle heart.
Above all else, Jahmia was a family man. Even at a young age, he dreamed of building a family of his own. He loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Everyone who crossed paths with him felt the warmth of his presence, his sincerity, and his good heart.
Jahmia is preceded in death by his aunt, Tatiana Ambert, and his grandmother, Ana DaVila. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mycherie Negron; his brother, Sayvion Negron; his sister, Tatiana Dozier; and his uncle, Luis Ambert. His memory will continue to live on in those who were touched by his light, his laughter, and his dreams.
