My love.. my Jairah Owin
How do I even begin to say that you're no longer here with us? How do I explain this pain, this silence, this ache that lives in every inch of my body? You were my life. My whole life. And now I'm lost. Shattered. Hurting in ways I didn't even know were humanly possible.
You were the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. You ARE the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. We built a life filled with so much love, laughter, chaos, and dreams and from that love came our girls. The most beautiful pieces of both of us. You were the best daddy, the kind who made magic out of nothing, who made our girls feel like they could do anything because they had you.
You were patient. Gentle. Steady. You loved so deeply and so freely. You worked with your hands but led with your heart. You showed up for us every single day, whether it was through the loudest laughs or quietest sacrifices. You were the man of my dreams. You still are. You always will be. My once-in-a-lifetime love the one I'll search for in every sunrise, in every breeze, in every smile from our daughters.
You made everything feel possible. Even when we had nothing, we had you and that was everything. The way you danced with us in the kitchen, blasted your reggae in the truck, held our babies like they were made of gold. That's who you were. That's who you are. My home. My peace. My joy. My soulmate.
You were more than just my husband. You were my best friend, my safe place, my forever. You were everything to everyone. A son, a brother, a friend, a leader. And the proud owner of Chun-Lai Construction, something you built from the ground up with your blood, sweat, and heart. I promise you I'll continue your legacy. I'll build for you. I'll dream for you. I'll carry your name forward until my very last breath.
I have 68,936 photos and videos of you and I would give every single one just to hold your hand again, even for a second. But now, I hold onto every memory. Every laugh. Every kiss. Every whispered "I love you." Because you're in everything now. I see you in our daughters. I hear you in the wind. I feel you in my soul.
We live for you now. Every step we take, we take with you.
Jairah my love my heart my angel
I will miss you every single day until eternity.
Each day that passes is truly one day closer to you.
