It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jake Carrillo, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Jake, aged 16, of San Angelo, passed away on March 1, 2024.
You may pay your respects from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A celebration of Jake's life will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 4:30 PM at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, officiated by Pastor Zeke Arreola of Kingdom Church. Arrangements are being handled by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Born on November 14, 2007, in San Angelo, Jake was the son of Alvaro Carrillo and the late Lilia Margarita Arredondo Carrillo. He attended schools in the local area, including San Angelo Central High School, where he was a sophomore. Jake had a passion for soccer and played as a right wing for the Central Bobcats. He also enjoyed spending time playing video games and soccer matches with his friends. Jake's shy demeanor transformed into a warm and humorous personality among those he knew well. He was known for his sportsmanship on and off the field, his respect for others, and his kind-hearted nature.
Jake is survived by his father Alvaro Carrillo, sisters Yadira Margarita Morales, Amanda Carrillo, and Elvira Carrillo, paternal grandfather Nicanor Carrillo, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
During this difficult time, we remember and honor Jake's life, legacy, and the impact he had on those around him. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
