Im not a boxing fan but what an interesting life story about Mr. LaMotta. Stand up comedy REALLY. What a talented man. I am sure he will be missed by family and close friends. May the God of ALL comfort provide the solace that the family needs at this time.

My dear friend, Stephanie LaMotta was his daughter - she runs a dog rescue org Death Row Dogs and Jake, dog lover also, was very proud of her - she suffers with M.S. but still devotes full time to saving dogs from being killed at pounds - she "inherited" Jake's fighting spirit!

Condolences from the Al DeNapoli family in Detroit. Fight Manager for Jake from the late 1940's thru the 1950's. He was gracious when I called him to tell him Al had died in 1997. Many pictures of Jake and Al during their fight history. Would like to come to memorial service in Florida if possible. Brother Peter is in Boca Raton. All our love and respect.
