Jake Pattison

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jake Warren Pattison, who left us far too soon on May 13, 2025, at the age of 30.
Jake was born on January 5, 1995, to Edward and Lynnae. He grew up in Mentone, California, before making Lake Havasu City his home in 2021, where he lived with his wife, Nina, and their "baby dog", Ozzie. He took pride in his concrete work, but his true passion was being a heavy equipment operator-a job he was a true natural at.
Jake loved camping, shooting, and riding dirt bikes-he mastered the art of riding wheelies and never passed up a chance to show off his skills. Whether in his truck or around the campfire, Jake liked the music loud and to sing his heart out even louder. You could always count on him to yell, "Play Skynyrd!" to get the party started-and then air guitar his way through every bit of Free Bird. He had a way of making every moment more fun and more memorable.
But more than his hobbies, it was Jake's heart and the way he connected with people that really left a mark. His fun-loving spirit could turn even the simplest moments into a good time, filled with laughter. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went, creating countless lasting friendships. His friends became family, and his family meant the world to him. If you knew Jake, you knew how big his heart was-and how easy it was to love him back.
Jake leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, love, and connection. There's a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, but Jake's spirit lives on in every memory, every song, and every life he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Jake is survived by his wife, Nina; his mother and stepfather, Lynnae and Jeff Hanson; his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Rachelle Pattison; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Will Bodnar; his grandfather, Harry Pattison; his grandmother, LoAnne Stewart; and his aunt and uncle, Stacey and Scott Huckfeldt. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored him just as much as he adored them-along with many more family members and countless friends who were lucky to be a part of his world. Jake was predeceased by his father, Edward Pattison; his grandmother, Carolyn Pattison; and his grandfather, Chuck Stewart.
We plan to honor Jake's life in both of the places he called home-Mentone, CA, and Lake Havasu City, AZ. Details will be shared soon. We welcome all to come celebrate Jake's life, share memories, and remember the joy he brought to those around him. So, in Jake's honor-"PLAY SKYNYRD!!!"
