One of the best friends - actually the BEST friend I have had. We were both Past Presidents of the VVA Chapter 250 in Saginaw. I knew him as a Therapist for my PTSD. I knew him personally as well spending many hours with him. When his father died I was there and attempted to resuscitate him. I felt so bad for many years of not being able to save his life. After that I wandered away. We crossed paths many times. At the VA, he had already retired. Just missed him. We both lived at Houghton Lake and never knew each of us were in the same town. I only found out about Jim's passing at a Veterans Day 2022 event at an elementary school my granddaughter invited me to. I met another Nam Vet there who is in the VVA in Bay County. It was then I learned of Jim's passing. Rest In Peace Brother. May we meet again in Heaven someday - until then Jim, you will be missed.. (Photos below of me as a former Air Force Cop - AF Blue Beret (Law Enforcement) and as a Minister Officiating our daughter's wedding.)
